Grants under S137

Section 137 Expenditure Limit for 2019-20

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has advised that the appropriate sum for the purpose of section 137(4)(a) of the Local Government Act 1972 for parish and town councils in England for 2020-21 is £8.32 per person on the electoral roll on 1 April 2019.

Consequently, this parish has allocated £5000 for Section 137 Grants in the financial year.
