Wiltshire Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary introduction of 40mph Speed Limit: A3102 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke (Ref: TTRO 9547) Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction on the following length of road: A3102 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from a point approximately 200m southwest of its junction with Bowds Lane for a distance of approximately 350m in a north easterly direction. Due to: reasons of highway safety and risk of serious damage due to the commencement of reconstruction works of the carriageway at Lyneham Banks. The speed restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 13 June 2024 and is anticipated to be required until the completion of the land slippage works at Lyneham Banks. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
